Just a few of our critters here at Good Steward Cattle Company. We have miniature donkeys, horses, one goat (who thinks she's a horse), a pony, a mule, 4 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats and a partridge in a pair tree!! Here are just a few of our critters with more pictures on the way!
One of our miniature donkeys, Delilah and her baby Feline(on the left). Feline is a real sassy frass but Delilah is a real sweetie!
Daisy is a rescue pony that we really love! She is a little mischievous, but a real sweetie. She loves having her neck rubbed and loves a peppermint.
Our old lady Trixie. We call her Sissy and she's been here since 2000. I found her by the road with her two puppies that someone had thrown out. Her puppies were dead but she was standing by them. I buried the puppies and brought her home. She's been with us ever since. She loves sleeping inside and having her face rubbed.
Update-We lost our old girl Trixie several months back. We are so sad, she was the sweetest dog ever and we miss her dearly! |
Hootie is our favorite donkey! He is a real character and will follow you around like a puppy. He will also sell his soul for a peppermint!
Our Norwegian Fjords! Erica on the right and Malena on the left. No wait...Malena on the right and Erica on the left. No wait, I can't tell them apart sometimes! With them is our gorse. She is a fainting goat that thinks she's a horse!
Our crazy crackhead puppies! Clarke saw them beside the road when they were just little bitty puppies and brought them home. They obviously have grown up some! Sophie is the white and brown beagle mix and Cricket(my favorite) is a solid brown mix. They love playing in the pond and hunting frogs!
